§ 9-116. Fees.

  • (a)

    Generally. Permits shall not be issued under this article by the electrical inspector until the fees as established from time to time by the city council have been paid.

    (b)

    Separate permit required for each service. For the purposes of this section, to regulate the issuing of permits and in fixing the fees covering same, each recording watt-hour meter and all sign feeder wires and branch circuit wires connecting the same shall be considered as one (1) service; and a separate permit must be issued for each service.

    (c)

    Penalty fees. All electrical permit, inspection, fixture and appliance fees shall apply, except that if any person shall make application for permit as provided herein after the work has been started or after the work has been partially completed or concealed, such person shall pay four (4) times the fee or fees which would ordinarily be required.
