§ 9-55. Renewal.

  • Each license issued under this article shall be renewed annually on or before the thirty-first day of December of each year. A grace period of thirty (30) days shall be allowed for renewal. After this grace period, the licensee must pay one and one-half (1½) times the normal fee. If licenses are not renewed by the last day of February of each year, the licensee will be subject to all of the requirements for obtaining a new license including, but not limited to, the retaking of any required test and reapplying for a license. No electrical work shall be performed by a person or company whose license is not in a current status.
