§ 9-158. Emergency wiring.

  • Emergency wiring may be permitted for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days and application for same must be accompanied by a letter to the electrical inspector signed both by the electrical contractor applying for the permit and by the owner or occupant of the building desiring installation, signifying that the emergency work will be promptly removed by the electrical contractor on or before the expiration of one hundred twenty (120) days or lesser period of time that may be designated by the electrical inspector.
