§ 9-140. Same—Prerequisite for service.

It shall be unlawful for any electrical supply company operating under a franchise granted by the city or from any person furnishing electric current for light, heat and power to connect his system with any installation of wiring apparatus or fixtures installed after this chapter becomes effective in or to any building or other structure within the jurisdiction of the city without having first received permission from the electrical inspector to furnish current for such wiring, apparatus or fixtures; such permission shall be given by the electrical inspector at any time after the certificate of insurance shall have been issued.
