§ 9-58. Suspension, revocation.

  • Any electrician's license issued under the provisions of this article may be suspended or revoked by the board of electricians should the holder violate any provision of this Code, state law or ordinance relating to or governing electrical construction or repairing. Any person whose license shall have been revoked shall not again be licensed within one year from the date of such action, but no license shall be suspended or revoked unless the licensee shall have been given an opportunity to appear and be heard by the board. He shall have had at least ten (10) days' written notice by registered letter setting forth the charges against him and the date and place for appeal. Any such revocation or suspension of a license shall not affect any criminal prosecution hereunder or prevent punishment by fine for violation hereof.
