§ 30-84. Penalty for violations generally.

  • (a)

    A person who continues prohibited discharges or violates any other provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for each act of violation, and each day of violation shall be deemed to constitute a separate and distinct violation.

    (b)

    In addition to proceeding under authority of subsection (a) of this section, the city is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies to which it is entitled under authority of statutes or other ordinances against a person continuing prohibited discharge or violation of any other provisions of this article.
