§ 30-45. Parks and recreation donation fund.

(a)

A parks and recreation donation fund is hereby established which will allow citizens to make monthly donations to fund parks and recreation capital items and projects. The appropriation of these funds shall be recommended by the parks and recreation director to the city manager on an as-needed basis.

(b)

The parks and recreation donation fund shall be promoted through the city's monthly water bill. Citizens and businesses may voluntarily add a dollar amount of their choice to their monthly payment. All funds collected shall be deposited in a city account designated as the Parks and Recreation Donation Fund.
