§ 30-40. Discount for early payment.

The city council does hereby establish an early payment discount amount for all payments received by the due date, as defined in section 30-39. All consumers of city utility services who fail to pay by the due date will forfeit the discount and be required to pay the gross amount of the bill, calculated as one hundred ten (110) per cent of the early payment discount amount.
