§ 29-70. Accident reports—Required.

  • (a)

    The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident within the city resulting in an injury to or death of any person or damage to any property to an apparent extent of fifty dollars ($50.00) or more shall immediately by the quickest means of communication give notice of such accident to the police department.

    (b)

    The police department may require any driver of a vehicle involved in an accident, of which a report must be made as provided herein, to file a supplemental report whenever the original report is insufficient, and it is hereby made the duty of all persons witnessing any accident or collision of a vehicle of any kind to report the same to the police department.
