§ 22-7. Service of process.

Before any permit or registration card is issued under this chapter, the applicant or registrant shall file with the city secretary or his designee, a fully executed affidavit nominating and appointing the Secretary of State of the State of Texas as his or her true and lawful agent, with full power and authority to accept and acknowledge service of notice of process for and on behalf of the applicant or registrant and service of summons in any action brought upon the applicant or registrant as a result of activities conducted in accordance with this chapter.
